So, The Emperor’s New Groove on Game Boy Color—yeah, it’s exactly what you’d expect from a 2000s movie tie-in, but in a weirdly charming way. You play as Kuzco (mostly in llama form, obviously), jumping around, dodging stuff, and collecting coins like it’s going out of style. The levels are short and kinda repetitive, but there’s something satisfying about knocking out those evil squirrel things with a well-timed spin attack.
It’s not exactly deep—you’ll mostly just run left to right, occasionally switching between Kuzco and Pacha for some light puzzle-solving—but the sprites are colorful, and the music’s got that nostalgic early 2000s Disney vibe. If you’re into weird little licensed games, this one’s a fun time-waster. Just don’t expect it to reinvent the wheel.
