Elevator Action - Old & New is one of those GBA ports that somehow makes an arcade classic feel fresh. You're still that slick spy dodging bullets and kicking enemies down elevator shafts, but now with redone visuals and a "New" mode that throws in some wild power-ups. First time I played, I got wrecked trying to rush through like the original—turns out the new mechanics actually change how you approach rooms.

The Japanese/Eurasia version has some subtle differences from other releases, like slightly faster enemy patterns. If you're emulating, play with headphones—that chiptune remix of the original theme slaps way harder than it should for a Game Boy Advance title.
