E.t. The Extra Terrestrial - Escape From Planet Earth Game

Okay, so this is the Game Boy Color version of E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial - Escape From Planet Earth, and honestly? It’s a weird little relic. You play as E.T. trying to, well, escape Earth—duh—but it’s not like the Atari disaster. It’s a side-scroller where you float around collecting Reese’s Pieces (classic) and avoiding scientists who really don’t want you calling home.
The controls are kinda floaty, which makes sense since E.T. doesn’t exactly run, but it takes a minute to get used to. The music’s got that nostalgic GBC chiptune vibe, and the pixel art’s actually pretty charming for what it is. Not gonna lie, it’s janky in places, but if you’re into retro licensed games, it’s a fun curiosity. Just don’t expect a hidden masterpiece.
