E-SWAT on the Master System is one of those side-scrolling action games that feels tougher than it looks. You play as a cyber-cop in a futuristic city, blasting through waves of criminals with your standard-issue pistol—until you finally get to suit up in the powered armor, which is when things get really fun. The "Easy Version" tweaks the difficulty a bit, so you’re not getting wrecked by the second stage like in the original.

It’s got that classic late '80s arcade vibe—simple controls, chunky sprites, and a soundtrack that’s basically just bass-heavy synth noises. The level where you rappel down a skyscraper while dodging gunfire still feels cool, even if the hit detection is a little janky. Definitely one for fans of old-school run-and-gun action.
