Okay, so Dukes of Hazzard: Racing for Home on Game Boy Color is exactly what it sounds like—you’re tearing around in the General Lee, dodging Sheriff Rosco, and causing chaos in Hazzard County. It’s a top-down racer with that classic GBC chunky pixel look, and yeah, the handling’s a little slidey at first, but you get used to it.
You’ve got your usual races, some cop chases, and even a few weird minigames where you’re hauling moonshine or jumping creeks. The soundtrack’s got that twangy banjo thing going on, which is either nostalgic or annoying depending on how long you play. Not gonna lie, it’s janky in places, but if you grew up with the show (or just love old-school racers), there’s something weirdly charming about it.
Also, good luck not yelling "yeehaw" when you nail a perfect drift around a dirt corner.
