Driven came out for the Game Boy Advance in 2002, published by BAM! Entertainment. It was part of that wave of licensed games trying to capture the feel of a movie on a handheld screen. You don't see many people talking about it now, but it was there, another racer in a sea of portable driving games from that era.

You control a driver from the movie, and the goal is to win races across different circuits. The core of the game is straightforward arcade racing, but it tries to mix things up with a few specific mechanics. There's a boost system you manage, a kind of drafting mechanic to slipstream behind opponents, and you can perform stunts for extra points or advantages. The tracks are fairly linear, and the difficulty can spike unexpectedly on later circuits, making some races a real test of patience. It feels like a competent but unremarkable attempt to translate a film's high speed into a simple, pick up and play format.
