You control one of the characters from the series, like Goku or Vegeta, and the main goal is to deplete your opponent's health bar in one-on-one battles. The signature mechanics involve charging your ki by holding a button to unleash super moves, and you can perform a teleport to evade attacks or close the distance quickly. The pacing is fast, but the difficulty can feel uneven, sometimes spiking unexpectedly. It feels like a straightforward brawler that captures the basic spectacle of the show, even if the execution is a bit rough around the edges.
