Dragon Ball Z - Les Guerriers Legendaires is one of those old-school Game Boy Color RPGs that feels like it was made just for fans. You start off picking between Goku, Vegeta, or Piccolo—each with their own moves and upgrade paths. The sprites are tiny but surprisingly detailed for a GBC game, and the turn-based combat actually makes you think about ki management instead of just button-mashing.
It’s in French, obviously, but even if you’re rusty on the language, the menu icons and attack animations are easy enough to figure out. The soundtrack has that classic DBZ energy, and there’s something weirdly satisfying about grinding levels while waiting for the bus. Not the deepest RPG out there, but it nails the vibe of the anime better than most GBC games did.
