Dragon Ball Z - Buu’s Fury is basically Legacy of Goku 3 in everything but name—it picks up right after the second game and takes you through the whole Buu saga. You start off as Goku, flying around familiar DBZ locations, beating up bad guys, and leveling up your attacks like the Kamehameha. The combat’s simple but satisfying, especially when you pull off a super move and watch the screen explode with energy blasts.
What’s cool is you eventually switch between Goku, Vegeta, and Gohan, each with their own upgrades and playstyles. Vegeta hits like a truck, while Gohan’s more balanced—I stuck with him for most of the mid-game. The RPG elements are light, but collecting orbs to boost your stats gives you just enough to tinker with. And yeah, the final fight against Kid Buu? Pure DBZ chaos.
It’s not perfect—some of the side quests feel like filler—but if you liked the first two Legacy of Goku games, this one’s a no-brainer.
