About Dragon Ball Gt : Transformation
Dragon Ball GT: Transformation came out for the Game Boy Advance in 2005, developed by Webfoot Technologies. It was part of that wave of portable games trying to capture the feel of the anime, a common sight on the system. You get to play through the early parts of the Dragon Ball GT story, starting with Goku as a kid again.
You control Goku, flying across a world map to reach specific locations where the action happens. The main goal is to fight through these side scrolling beat 'em up stages, clearing out enemies to advance the plot. Signature mechanics include transforming into a Super Saiyan during combat for a temporary power boost, and collecting Zeni scattered in the environments to purchase upgrades between levels. The pacing is fairly straightforward, though some enemy encounters can feel repetitive after a while. It feels like a quick, hands on trip through that particular era of the series.
