About Dragon Ball Gt - Transformation (u)(trashman)
Dragon Ball GT: Transformation came out in 2005 for the Game Boy Advance, published by Atari. It was one of the many handheld games trying to capture the feel of the anime during that era, acting as a follow-up to the Legacy of Goku series and covering the first half of the GT storyline up through the Baby Saga.
You control Goku, Trunks, and Pan as they travel from planet to planet, fighting through waves of identical enemies in a side-scrolling beat 'em up format. The main goal is to advance through each linear stage, clearing out all the foes on screen before you can move forward. Signature mechanics include switching between the three characters on the fly, each with their own basic combo and special move, and transforming into Super Saiyans for a temporary power boost. The pacing is repetitive, and the difficulty often comes from cheap enemy placement rather than complex patterns. Playing it feels like going through the motions, a straightforward but uninspired trek through familiar Dragon Ball moments.
