About Dr. Seuss' - The Cat In The Hat (u)(eurasia)
I picked up Dr. Seuss' The Cat in the Hat for the Game Boy Advance back in 2004. It was developed by Digital Eclipse, a studio known for its portable adaptations. This was a time when licensed platformers were common on the GBA, and this one fit right into that familiar, colorful library.
You control the Cat, moving through side scrolling levels based on the book's world. Your main goal is to clean up the mess the Cat and his helpers, Thing 1 and Thing 2, have made before Mom gets home. The gameplay involves a lot of jumping between platforms and using your umbrella to bounce on enemies or objects. You also collect scattered birthday cake pieces and find keys to unlock new areas. The levels are fairly straightforward, with a moderate pace that doesn't rush you, though some jumps require precise timing.
