This GBA adaptation of The Cat in the Hat is exactly what you'd expect—a weirdly charming, slightly janky platformer that feels like stepping into one of Dr. Seuss' illustrations. You bounce on umbrellas, collect fish in bowls (because why not?), and deal with the Cat's chaotic energy in pixel form. The controls take a minute to get used to—jumping feels a little floaty at first—but once you adjust, it's got that classic early 2000s licensed game vibe. Not gonna lie, some of the level designs are frustrating in that "old-school trial and error" way, but the art style nails the book's whimsy. If you grew up on Seuss or just love oddball retro platformers, it's a nostalgia trip worth firing up.
