Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine was released for the Sega Master System in Europe, developed by Compile and published by Sega. It arrived late in the system's life, a puzzle game that repurposed the Japanese Puyo Puyo with a Sonic the Hedgehog villain theme.
You control the falling pairs of colored beans, rotating and positioning them to create matches of four or more of the same color. The main objective is to clear your own screen while sending garbage beans to your opponent's side to overwhelm them.
