Double Target - Cynthia No Nemuri (japan) Game

Double Target - Cynthia no Nemuri is one of those weird, obscure Sega Master System games that feels like it got lost in translation. You play as Cynthia, a girl who literally sleepwalks through levels—which sounds funny until you realize enemies pop up everywhere and the controls take some getting used to. The whole thing has this dreamlike, slightly off vibe, like an 8-bit Lynch movie.
First few minutes? You’re figuring out how her sleepwalking momentum works (hint: she slides a bit when stopping) while dodging these… floating heads? Yeah, it’s bizarre. The music’s oddly catchy though, all synthy and tense. Not sure if it’s "good," but I kept playing just to see what weird enemy showed up next.
Definitely a cult curiosity for hardcore Master System fans. You’ll either love how weird it is or nope out after two levels.
