Double Hawk on the Sega Master System is one of those games that looks simple at first—just a little hawk-shaped ship dodging bullets and blasting enemies—but man, it gets intense fast. The first level lulls you in with slow-moving targets, but by stage two, you're weaving through bullet patterns that feel almost unfair until you get the rhythm down.

What I love is how the ship controls—tight, responsive, with just enough weight to make banking turns satisfying. The pixel art holds up too, especially the explosions and those chunky enemy designs.
