Dora the Explorer: Super Star Adventures is one of those GBA games that feels like a Saturday morning cartoon in your hands. You play as Dora (and sometimes Boots) running around colorful levels, collecting stars to help out friends like Benny the Bull and Tico the Squirrel. It's got that classic Dora vibe—simple puzzles, a little Spanish mixed in, and that weirdly catchy backpack song.

The controls are dead simple, which makes sense since it's aimed at younger kids, but there's something oddly satisfying about bouncing around as Boots or using Dora's backpack to pull out random items. The star collecting gets trickier than you'd expect—some are hidden in spots that made me backtrack more than once. Not gonna lie, I got stuck for a solid five minutes on a vine puzzle near the end.

If you grew up with Dora or just want something cheerful and uncomplicated, it's a solid little platformer. Just don't expect deep mechanics—this is pure, sugary kid-game fun.
