About Dogz
Dogz came out for the Game Boy Advance in 2005, published by Ubisoft. It was part of that wave of virtual pet games you could carry in your pocket, a digital alternative to a Tamagotchi but with more room for activities. This was a time when having a little creature to care for on a handheld felt like a small, personal responsibility.
You control a cursor to interact with your puppy. The main goal is to raise a happy, healthy dog by feeding it, giving it water, playing games like fetch or frisbee, and teaching it tricks. Signature mechanics include grooming your dog with a brush and shampoo, buying new toys and accessories from a shop, and watching your pet's needs and mood fluctuate on status meters.
