About Dogz (e)(rising Sun)
Dogz came out for the Game Boy Advance in 2005, published by Ubisoft. It was part of that wave of virtual pet games you could carry in your pocket, a simpler alternative to the more complex RPGs and platformers on the system. You didn't save the world; you raised a puppy.
In the game, you choose a puppy from a selection of breeds and bring it home. Your main goal is to care for it, keeping its hunger, happiness, and health meters full. You do this by feeding it, giving it water, and playing with it using toys like a ball or a frisbee. As you play mini games, you earn points to buy more items, like new toys or different colored collars.
