Disney's Treasure Planet on GBA is one of those licensed platformers that actually gets the vibe right. You play as Jim Hawkins, bouncing between floating islands and pirate ships with that sweet jet-powered surfboard. The controls feel a little floaty at first, but once you get the hang of boosting off ramps and dodging those annoying robot sentries, it’s weirdly satisfying.
They nailed the art style too—all those deep purples and golds from the movie pop surprisingly well on the tiny screen. Just don’t expect a deep story; it’s mostly running, jumping, and the occasional boss fight against Scroop (who’s way creepier here than he should be for a kids’ game).
