Disney's Tarzan - Return To The Jungle (u)(mode7) Game
📅 2002 ✍️ Disney Interactive

Disney's Tarzan - Return to the Jungle on GBA is one of those side-scrollers that nails the vine-swinging action. You start off with Tarzan doing his usual thing—jumping between trees, dodging leopards, and rescuing Jane from yet another jungle mishap. The animation’s surprisingly smooth for a GBA game, and the levels actually feel like you’re moving through dense jungle instead of just hopping between platforms.
What I like is that it’s not just mindless swinging—you’ve got these little puzzles where you gotta figure out which vines lead where, and some of the later levels throw in these timed sequences that actually make you sweat. The soundtrack’s got that classic Disney vibe too, which helps when you’re replaying the same section for the fifth time because a crocodile got you mid-jump.
It’s not the deepest game out there, but if you’re into that old-school Disney charm with some decent platforming, this one holds up better than you’d expect.
