Disney’s Party on the GBA is basically a board game with mini-games starring Mickey and friends—think Mario Party, but way simpler and with that classic Disney vibe. You roll a die, move around themed boards (like a pirate island or a spooky mansion), and land on spaces that trigger quick challenges—stuff like memory games, button-mashing races, or timing-based puzzles. Nothing too deep, but it’s got that early 2000s handheld charm.
The mini-games are hit-or-miss—some are fun for a round or two, others feel like filler. But the real draw is playing as Disney characters you probably loved as a kid. Donald Duck’s angry quacks never get old, and there’s something weirdly satisfying about beating Goofy at a rhythm game. Graphics are bright and cartoony, though don’t expect anything mind-blowing for the GBA.
It’s definitely aimed at younger players or Disney die-hards, but if you’ve got nostalgia for this era of handheld party games, it’s a decent time-waster. Just don’t go in expecting Mario Party levels of depth.
