Disney's Magical Quest Starring Mickey And Minnie (j)(eurasia) Game

Disney's Magical Quest on GBA is one of those classic side-scrollers where Mickey and Minnie actually feel fun to control—none of that stiff, old-school platforming. You start off in this colorful Disney-fied world where you can switch costumes on the fly, and each one changes how you play. The wizard outfit lets you shoot magic, the mountain climber has a grappling hook... it’s way more creative than I expected.
First level throws you right into it: hopping on mushrooms, dodging weirdly aggressive vegetables (because of course Disney villains are sentient pumpkins), and figuring out which costume works best for each section. The grappling hook parts feel a little janky at first, but once you get the timing down, swinging around is weirdly satisfying.
It’s got that classic Disney charm—bright colors, bouncy music—but don’t let that fool you. Some of those later platforming sections get surprisingly tricky. Still holds up if you’re into retro stuff.
