Disney Sports: Snowboarding on the GBA is exactly what it sounds like—Mickey, Donald, and the gang hitting the powder in that classic early 2000s Disney art style. You pick your character (Goofy’s flailing animations alone make him worth choosing), then it’s straight to racing down short, arcade-style courses full of jumps and obstacles.
The controls are simple—tap a button to crouch for speed, another for tricks—but nailing the timing for big air feels surprisingly satisfying. There’s a weird charm to seeing Minnie Mouse in a snowsuit pulling off backflips over pine trees. The courses get trickier fast, with icy patches and tight turns that’ll send you face-first into a snowbank if you’re not careful.
It’s not the deepest snowboarding sim out there, but for a quick burst of Disney-flavored nostalgia? Solid little time capsule. Just don’t expect Tony Hawk-level tricks.
