Disney Sports Snowboarding is one of those weird, charming little GBA games that shouldn’t work but somehow does. You pick Mickey, Goofy, or a handful of other Disney characters and hit the slopes—except it’s less "extreme sports" and more "cartoon characters wobbling down a mountain." The controls are simple, almost floaty, but there’s something oddly satisfying about pulling off tricks while Donald Duck flails in the background.
It’s definitely a product of its time—bright colors, exaggerated animations, and a soundtrack that’s either nostalgic or grating depending on your tolerance for early 2000s Konami soundfonts. Not exactly a deep snowboarding sim, but perfect for quick sessions when you just want something silly and light. I still have no idea why Disney and Konami teamed up for this, but I’m weirdly glad they did.
