I picked up Disney Sports Skateboarding for the Game Boy Advance back in 2002. It was a Konami release, which was interesting to see on a Nintendo handheld during that era. The game arrived when the GBA library was expanding with all sorts of titles, and this one tried to blend Disney charm with a skateboarding setup.

You control various Disney characters, like Mickey or Goofy, as they skate through different themed levels. The main goal is to complete each course, performing tricks to build up your score and speed. A key mechanic is linking tricks together in combos; you ollie and then press directions to pull off grabs and flips. Another is navigating the levels themselves, which are split into distinct sections you move between, and you often have to find keys or hit specific goals to open new paths. The pacing is fairly quick, but some objectives can be tricky to nail on the first try, making you replay sections. It feels like a lighthearted arcade skate game where nailing a long combo string is genuinely satisfying.
