I picked up Disney Sports: Skateboarding for the Game Boy Advance back in 2002, a time when licensed games were everywhere. It was published by Konami, and the idea of Mickey Mouse and friends on skateboards was just strange enough to work. It felt like a product of its era, a simple portable title you'd play in short bursts.

You control one of several Disney characters, like Mickey or Donald, navigating them through linear, side scrolling courses. The main goal is to reach the end of each stage, performing tricks and grinds to build up a high score. Signature mechanics include manual tricks, where you balance your board on two wheels, and grinding on rails and ramps. The game moves at a brisk pace, and the difficulty comes from maintaining your combo chain without bailing. It feels like a straightforward arcade challenge that is easy to pick up but requires some practice to master completely.
