Disney Sports Basketball is one of those weirdly fun GBA sports games where Mickey, Donald, and the gang suddenly decide they're all about hoops. It's basically NBA Street but with Disney characters—Goofy's doing alley-oops, Minnie's draining threes, and for some reason, Pete's an absolute unit in the paint.

The controls are simple enough—dribble, pass, shoot—but the real charm is in the over-the-top animations and team combos. I thought picking Mickey would be the obvious choice, but turns out Donald's speed makes him a sneaky good point guard. The courts have that classic early 2000s Konami arcade feel, too—bright colors, exaggerated dunks, and just enough chaos to keep it from feeling like a straight-up sim.

It's not deep, but it's way more entertaining than it has any right to be. Perfect for quick sessions when you want something silly and fast-paced.
