Disney Princess Royal Adventure is one of those early 2000s GBA games that feels like it was made specifically for kids who couldn’t get enough of Cinderella and Jasmine. You pick a princess—each with their own little story—and run through simple platforming levels, collecting gems and avoiding obstacles. It’s not exactly challenging, but the sprite work is charming, and the music is pure Disney nostalgia.
I remember playing this as a kid and thinking the Aladdin level was the coolest thing ever, even if the controls were a little stiff. These days, it’s more of a nostalgia trip than anything, but if you’ve got a soft spot for classic Disney or just want something lighthearted, it’s a decent little time-waster.
