Disney Princess Royal Adventure (e)(lightforce) Game

Disney Princess Royal Adventure is one of those early 2000s GBA games that feels like it was made for kids but somehow ends up being weirdly charming. You pick a princess—Cinderella, Belle, Ariel, etc.—and run through these short, simple platforming levels collecting gems and avoiding obstacles. The controls are a little floaty, but the sprite work is surprisingly nice for a licensed game.
What’s funny is how each princess has her own little quirks. Ariel swims through underwater sections, Belle pushes bookshelves around in the Beast’s castle—it’s not deep, but it’s got personality. I remember getting stuck on Jasmine’s carpet-riding level for way too long as a kid because the hitboxes were kinda jank.
Definitely a nostalgia trip if you grew up with it, though I wouldn’t call it a hidden gem or anything. Just a breezy, colorful time-waster with some Disney magic sprinkled on top.
