Dinobasher Starring Bignose The Caveman (europe) (proto) Game

Ever wanted to play a lost Sega Master System prototype? Dinobasher Starring Bignose the Caveman is exactly that—a weird little caveman action game that never got an official release. You play as Bignose (yes, that’s his name) smashing dinosaurs with a club in side-scrolling levels that feel like a mix of Bonk’s Adventure and someone’s fever dream.
The controls are janky in that classic early '90s way, and the sprites are hilariously blocky, but there’s something charming about whacking pterodactyls mid-air while jumping between floating platforms. Found myself laughing more than I expected, especially at the caveman grunts when Bignose takes a hit.
It’s rough around the edges, but if you’re into obscure retro curios, this one’s a fun time capsule. Just don’t expect polished gameplay—it’s a prototype for a reason.
