About Die Monster Ag (g)(advance-power)
Die Monster AG was released for the Game Boy Advance in 2000. I don't recall the developer or publisher offhand, but it was one of many action games that appeared on the system during its early years. The GBA library was just starting to grow, and this title fit right in with the platform's focus on portable adventures.
You control a lone hero exploring a large, interconnected world filled with monsters. Your main goal is to cleanse the land by defeating these creatures and recovering lost artifacts. The game is built on screen by screen exploration; each new area is a self contained challenge. Combat is straightforward, relying on a simple sword attack, but you also find a bow for hitting distant enemies and switches. The pacing is deliberate, and the difficulty can be unforgiving if you rush into rooms unprepared. Moving through the quiet, monster filled halls gives the game a solitary and methodical feel.
