Denki Blocks! came out for the Game Boy Advance in 2001, developed by Denki. It was part of that early wave of GBA puzzle games, the kind you'd play in short bursts on the go. The game presents itself as a simple, clean puzzle experience without a lot of the flashy presentation you saw in other titles at the time.

You control a cursor to manipulate colored blocks on a grid. Your main goal is to connect all the blocks of the same color into a single group. The core mechanics involve rotating clusters of blocks and sliding entire rows or columns to create those connections. Each screen is a self contained puzzle, and the challenge ramps up steadily as new block types and obstacles are introduced. The difficulty can be quite sharp, demanding careful planning several moves ahead. It feels satisfying to finally see the solution click into place after a lot of staring and mental trial and error.
