Demon Driver is one of those GBA racers that doesn’t mess around—you’re basically a demon behind the wheel, tearing through chaotic tracks with a mix of arcade speed and weird supernatural hazards. The handling’s a little slippery at first (took me a race or two to stop slamming into walls), but once you get the hang of drifting around flaming obstacles and dodging random hellspawn, it clicks.

What’s cool is how over-the-top it feels for a handheld racer—some tracks have lava pits, others throw ghost cars at you, and the nitro boost makes your ride literally spew fire. Not exactly realistic, but who cares when you’re doing donuts around a skeleton biker?

Definitely a solid pick if you’re into old-school arcade racing with a horror twist. Just don’t expect Forza physics.
