Dead to Rights for the Game Boy Advance came out in 2004 from Namco. You control Jack Slate, a cop framed for murder, moving through urban environments screen by screen. Your main goal is to clear your name by fighting through the criminal underworld. The levels are linear, pushing you from one enemy encounter to the next with little exploration. The difficulty can be unforgiving, demanding quick reflexes to manage crowds and conserve ammunition. It feels like a constant, scrappy fight for survival in a compressed version of a gritty action movie.
