If you grew up watching Danny Phantom, this GBA game is basically a love letter to the show. You start off in Amity Park, flying around as Danny, blasting ghosts with ecto-blasts—just like you'd expect. The controls are simple, but some of the later ghost fights actually get pretty intense.
What surprised me was how much they packed into a GBA cart. There’s a decent mix of platforming and combat, plus some light puzzle-solving (nothing too brain-melting). The ghost zone levels have this weird, floaty vibe that makes them stand out from the regular city sections. And yeah, you’ll run into all the usual villains—Skulker’s still a pain.
It’s not the deepest game, but if you’re into the show, it’s a solid little adventure. Just don’t expect a masterpiece—it’s pure early 2000s licensed game energy, for better or worse.
