Dance Dance Revolution GB: Disney Mix is basically DDR for your Game Boy Color, but with Disney songs—which is either amazing or terrifying depending on how you feel about "It's a Small World." You tap buttons to the beat while Mickey and friends cheer you on in that classic GBC pixel-art style.
At first, I thought the controls would feel weird without an actual dance pad, but it’s surprisingly responsive once you get the hang of it. The song list is a mix of Disney bangers (yes, "Under the Sea" slaps) and some deep cuts that’ll make you go, "Oh right, this song existed."
Fair warning: The higher difficulties get brutal. Who knew "Hakuna Matata" could be so stressful? Still, it’s a weirdly charming little rhythm game—just don’t expect it to replace your actual DDR setup. Perfect for killing time on a road trip if you’re nostalgic for both Disney and early 2000s rhythm games.
