Dance Dance Revolution GB Disney Mix came out in 2001 for the Game Boy Color, developed by Konami. It was a portable take on the arcade phenomenon, arriving when the Game Boy Color was still widely played, offering a Disney themed rhythm experience you could take anywhere.
You control an on screen character by tapping the A and B buttons in time with scrolling arrows, matching the beat of songs from Disney films. The main goal is to complete each song with a high enough score to unlock more tracks and stages. Signature mechanics include the standard four panel arrow system adapted for two buttons, and a challenge mode where you must clear a series of songs consecutively.
