DDR GB3 is that weird little Game Boy Color version of Dance Dance Revolution where you tap buttons instead of stomping on a pad. It's got that classic late-90s Konami energy—bright colors, J-pop tracks, and a surprisingly decent selection of songs for a handheld rhythm game.
You control everything with the D-pad and buttons, matching arrows as they scroll up the screen. It's not quite the same as the arcade experience (obviously), but there's something charming about playing DDR on a tiny greenish screen during a car ride. The timing feels a bit looser than the arcade version, which helps when you're dealing with handheld controls.
If you're into retro rhythm games, this one's a neat curiosity—just don't expect it to replace your dance pad sessions.
