DDR GB2 is that weird little Game Boy Color version where you tap buttons instead of stomping on a pad—which sounds like a downgrade, but honestly? It's kinda charming in its own way. You've got the same J-pop and techno tracks from the arcade, just pixelated and tinny as hell. The timing feels looser than the arcade version, but that makes it weirdly forgiving when you're playing on a bus or something.
There's this one mode where your character actually levels up like an RPG, which is bizarre but weirdly addictive. And yeah, you'll be squinting at that tiny GBC screen trying to follow the arrows, but after a few songs, you get into the rhythm of it. Definitely not the real DDR experience, but a fun novelty if you're into retro oddities.
