Oh man, Daikaijuu Monogatari - Poyon no Dungeon Room is one of those weird little Game Boy Color gems that never made it outside Japan. You play as this tiny kaiju-looking dude exploring randomly generated dungeon rooms, smashing walls and collecting treasure. The controls take a second to get used to - you've got this weird digging move that feels awkward at first but becomes satisfying once you figure out the timing.

What's cool is how the dungeon shifts every time you enter a new room, so you're never quite sure if you'll find healing items, traps, or one of those annoying enemies that shoot projectiles diagonally. The chunky pixel art has that classic GBC charm, with bright colors and these hilarious little monster sprites. It's simple but strangely addictive once you get into the rhythm of digging and dodging.

Definitely one for fans of quirky retro dungeon crawlers - just don't expect a deep story or anything.
