Crash Nitro Kart came out for the Game Boy Advance in 2003, developed by Vicarious Visions. It was part of that wave of kart racers trying to capture some of that Mario Kart energy on a handheld. You got a solid portable racer with familiar faces from the Crash universe, which was a pretty common sight on the GBA.

You control Crash, Coco, or other characters, racing on twisting tracks across different planets. The main goal is straightforward: finish first. You collect wumpa fruit to fill a turbo meter, letting you get a speed boost when it's full. The tracks are filled with weapons you can pick up and fire, like missiles and traps, to knock other racers off course or slow them down. The game moves at a quick pace, and some of the later cups get pretty tough, demanding sharp turns and good item management. It feels like a fast, chaotic scramble where one well-placed item can completely change your position.
