Crash Bandicoot Fusion is one of those weird crossover games where Crash and Spyro somehow end up sharing the spotlight—which honestly sounds like a fever dream if you grew up playing them separately. You’re basically jumping, spinning, and flame-breathing your way through levels to stop Cortex and Ripto from wrecking everything. The GBA graphics are surprisingly decent for the hardware, though some of the platforming feels a little stiff compared to the PS1 originals.
At first, I thought the mashup would feel forced, but swapping between Crash’s moves and Spyro’s fire attacks keeps things interesting. Some levels lean more into one character’s style, like Spyro’s glide-heavy sections versus Crash’s crate-smashing chaos. It’s not the deepest game, but if you’re into classic platformers, it’s a fun little time capsule from the GBA era.
