About Crash Bandicoot 2 N-tranced (u)(noitami)
Crash Bandicoot 2: N-Tranced came out for the Game Boy Advance in 2003, developed by Vicarious Visions and published by Universal Interactive. It was part of that wave of portable games that tried to capture the feel of a console experience, fitting a lot of action onto a small screen.
You control Crash, running, jumping, and spinning your way through a series of themed levels. Your main goal is to rescue Coco and Crunch Bandicoot, who have been hypnotized by the villain N. Tropy. The gameplay mixes traditional side-scrolling with some stages where you ride a polar bear or pilot a small mech. You collect crystals and gems to progress, and the levels often require precise timing to avoid enemies and pits. The pacing is brisk, and some later stages can be quite challenging. It feels like a condensed, pocket-sized version of a Crash adventure.
