Crash Bandicoot: The Huge Adventure came out for the Game Boy Advance in 2002, developed by Vicarious Visions. It was one of the earlier attempts to bring the feel of a console platformer to the small screen, arriving when the GBA library was starting to fill out with recognizable characters.
You control Crash through a series of side-scrolling levels, running, jumping, and spinning to defeat enemies. The main goal is to collect crystals scattered across different worlds to stop the planet from being permanently shrunk. Signature mechanics include breaking crates to find items like extra lives and Wumpa fruit, and navigating specific vehicle stages where you ride a polar bear or pilot a small plane.
