Cocoto Kart Racer came out for the Game Boy Advance in 2005, developed by Neko Entertainment. You control your chosen racer on tracks that loop back on themselves, using a simple drift mechanic to slide around corners and collect the floating orbs that serve as your items. The main objective is straightforward: finish first in a series of cups. You can fire collected items at opponents to slow them down or get a temporary speed boost. The pacing is generally quick, though the AI can be fiercely competitive on the later circuits, making those first-place finishes a real challenge. It feels like a competent, no-frills racer that gets the job done on a handheld.
