Cloud Master is one of those weird old-school shooters where you play as Sun Wukong—unless you’ve got the Western version, where they randomly turned him into some guy named Mike Chen. Either way, you’re flying through levels on a cloud, blasting enemies with magic orbs while dodging projectiles that come at you from every angle.

The first level throws you right into it: floating islands, weird bird monsters, and these annoying little fireballs that seem to home in on you. The controls feel a bit stiff at first, but once you get used to the way your shots arc, it clicks. And yeah, the power-ups help—grabbing the spread shot early makes life way easier.

It’s got that classic Sega Master System charm—bright colors, chunky sprites, and music that somehow sticks in your head even when you’re not playing. Just don’t expect it to go easy on you.
