Play Classic Series : Castlevania Online

Konami released Classic NES Series: Castlevania for the Game Boy Advance in 2004. This was a period when many publishers were porting older console games to handhelds, giving a new generation a chance to play them on the go. This particular title is a direct conversion of the original 1986 Castlevania for the NES.

You control Simon Belmont, a vampire hunter armed with a whip, through a series of gothic stages. Your goal is to fight your way to the top of Dracula's castle and defeat him. The game progresses screen by screen; you clear one area of enemies like zombies and bats before moving to the next. You find secondary weapons, such as axes and holy water, by breaking candles, and you need to manage your hearts as ammunition for these tools. The pacing is deliberate, and the difficulty is considerable, demanding precise jumps and attack timing. Playing it feels like a direct, challenging conversation with a classic design.
