Classic Bubble Bobble on Game Boy Color is basically the same adorable bubble-blowing chaos as the arcade original, just pocket-sized. You’re still Bub or Bob (or both if you’ve got a friend), trapping enemies in bubbles and popping them for points—except now you can take those little dinosaurs anywhere. The controls feel a little cramped at first, but after a couple levels, you’ll be bouncing off bubbles like it’s second nature.
It’s missing some of the arcade’s flashy colors, but the charm’s all there: the weirdly catchy music, the way enemies turn into fruit when you chain pops, and that one level where everything’s upside down just to mess with you. Perfect for quick sessions when you’re waiting around, though good luck putting it down after "just one level."
