Chuck Rock II on the Master System is basically a caveman revenge story—you play as Chuck’s kid, swinging a club at dinosaurs who kidnapped your parents. It’s got that classic side-scroller feel where you jump over pits, bonk enemies on the head, and occasionally chuck rocks (fitting, right?). The sprites are chunky in that nostalgic Sega way, and some of the dinosaur designs are weirdly charming, like a T-Rex with goofy teeth.

First level throws you right into it—you’re smashing through jungle vines and dodging pterodactyls within seconds. The physics are a little floaty, but you get used to it. Pro tip: time your jumps carefully, or you’ll end up falling into a spike pit more often than you’d like to admit.
